Firm Foundation Holds First National Conference

Vision a critical factor in CPA profession.

PEORIA, Ill., August 7, 2008 – CPAs from around the U.S. recently attended “Sharpen Your Vision,”Firm Foundation’s inaugural 2008 Member Conference, held in Las Vegas, Nevada.  

Partners from 15 accounting and consulting firms in the U.S. attended the three-day conference which focused on the keys to defining and implementing a firm vision.  Attendees also received tools and tips to anticipate what the future holds in such areas as client service, attracting and identifying right hires, firm growth, practice management and technology.  

"Attendees at our first member conference agreed this was an energizing event that exceeded expectations," said Firm Foundation Director Dean Sengstock.  "Members left the conference with a powerful new focus that will help them sharpen the vision they have for their firms."

Most of the 25 conference attendees are members of the Firm Foundation, a national association of independent accounting firms with approximately 10 to 30 employees.  Affiliation with Firm Foundation allows members to draw upon the additional resources, experience and professional knowledge bases of RSM McGladrey, McGladrey & Pullen and more than 20 other accounting firms across the U.S. that are also members of Firm Foundation.
